Protek-SVM, LLC is a major Russian supplier of quality pharmaceutical substances for the high-tech medicine manufacturing. According to the 2010 expert estimates, the company’s market share in the field of substance export was 25%.

The variety of substances supplied by the company in 2010 comprised about 200 items. A range of modern and unique for the Russian market substances are in the process of registration. All products are supported with the  verification documents issued by manufacturers, conformance certificates and are subject to mandatory quality control held in the laboratory authorized by the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation.

The strategic partners of the company include suppliers from Austria, Brazil, Germany, India, Spain, Italy, China, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland, the largest global manufacturers of pharmaceutical substances, such as Chemo Iberica Group, Cipla Ltd., DSM Group, Merck S.A., Saint Gobain, Unique Chemicals Ltd., Shandong Xinhua Pharmaceutical Factory, Harbin General Pharm Factory, Ven Petrochem&Pharma Pvt.Ltd., Wuhan Pharmaceutical factory, Orchid Chemicals.

The company’s customers are big Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers – Pharmstandard, Veropharm, Akrikhin, Medisorb, and others. The raw material supplied by the company is used in the manufacturing of medicines such as Analgin,  Acetylsalicylic Acid, Paracetamol, Ceftriaxone, Cefotaxime, Cefazoline and others.

The company also operates in the field of contract manufacturing: Protek-SVM manufactures medicine (modern generics) and medical items (bandages, napkins, etc.). In 2010, the variety of products manufactured on the contract scheme comprised 260 items, including over 20 medical items manufactured under the own-brand name – Protek-SVM. Contract manufacturing is performed at the Russian and foreign facilities.
