PROTEK Implementation Centre is a top distributor of pharmaceuticals, beauty and health products in Russia by overall ranking*.  CV PROTEK is a nationwide distributor. The company is present in all 83 subjects of the Russian Federation. Its regional network boasts 41 branches, 41 regional sales offices and 23 branches-depo.

CV PROTEK does business with 860 major pharmaceutical manufacturers in 46 countries. All products are sourced directly from manufacturers, which shields the customers from the risk of getting counterfeits. Thanks to its tried and true partners, PROTEK is in a position to arrange regular deliveries of about 15,000 different medicines, parapharmaceutical products and medical supplies.

The company has a customer base across-the-board in the pharmaceutical market; it includes independent pharmacies, pharmacy chains and wholesalers. The company has also been active in public procurement, supplying medications to medical facilities and to the regions in a range of ICD designations under the programme of PNMP (providing benefit-entitled citizens with necessary medicinal products). The customer base totals 19,000 customers.

The total space of CV PROTEK’s storage facilities is about 159,000 sq.m at year-end 2010. To enable effective sales management and efficient utilization of the logistical system, the company has designated 6 regional zones (regional divisions): Centre, Moscow, Volga, South, Ural, and East. Service to the customers in each zone is provided from central regional warehouse facilities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Saratov, Kazan, and Novosibirsk.

The company’s logistics centre is the Transservice Customs Warehouse, based in the town of Pushkino 14 kilometres from Moscow on Yaroslavskoye Shosse. The total space of the facility is 56,800 sq.m (over 50,000 pallet spaces). The Transservice Customs Warehouse has a computerized system for consolidating customers’ consignments which has the fullest range of functionality in Russia and is capable of processing over 180 thou. units a day.

PROTEK Implementation Centre is a seven-time winner of the highest award for professionals in Russia’s pharmaceutical market, the Platinum Ounce, in the category “Best Distributor of Medicinal Products”, as well as of other awards in pharmaceutics, information technology, logistics, HR management, and charity.
